In 6 weeks of travel throughout Europe, Hotel Esprit was our absolute favourite. We wished that we could wrap it up and take it to every location! The staff made our stay perfect with their fantastic hospitality and helpfulness in assisting us to get the most out of our 4 days with transport, places to visit and scheduling recommendations. We loved everything about this hotel from the fabulous location (can’t beat the distance to the Old Town and station), trams almost at the door, great signage making it super easy to find, quality linen, shower products, good breakfast and most of all, the staff. Thank you so much! We will sing your praises to all who may be visiting the region as this is a great base to see many, many places as convenient day trips. Contact us if you make it Down Under! :)

This is a budget hotel so the room was small and basic, but as I'd expect for what I paid. The safe didn't work and there was a bit of a water mark on the ceiling, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. As i'd expect for £137 for 2 people for 2 nights. The location was amazing - on one of the main roads and within a few minutes stroll of 2 different tram stops, and 5 minutes walk of the main square "Garibaldi" and 10 minutes walk of the port. The breakfast was self service but everything was there, and felt very French and authentic. The lady on reception was amazing - and went to great lengths to show us on a map that they provide where all the key tourist places to visit are, which I have never experienced in a hotel before!

- The location - 10min walk to Garibaldi square and Garibaldi tram stop (perfect for getting from/to the airport), 10 min walk to Riquier station and 7 min walk to a bus stop (perfect for going on daytrips), 10 min walk to the Old town - Simple but delicious and plentiful breakfast - Comfy beds, cleanliness of the room - Last but not least - super attentive and lovely staff who always greet you with a smile and give great recommendations on everything (they even have a flyer with an extensive list of different recomms ready as you check in)

The hotel is nice, clean and recently redecorated. It also served an exceptionally good breakfast (we were expecting croissants, cheese and jam, but there was much, much more). The staff was extremely friendly and gave us a lot of helpful tips for the afternoon we spent there. The location is comfortable if you arrive or leave Nice by bus, and in walking distance from Garibaldi square and the port area. Our taxi to the airport was also not very expensive, because the entrance to the speedway is near.

Great value for money and in a fun area, you can easily go to the port, old town, the castle, nice streets with restaurants and shops, galleries by foot. The room was better than expected, the interior is a little bit older but it works for the hotel and everything is kept really clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower is nice and you have a water boiler for coffee and tea. No frills but it's a decent room. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
